November already?

Seriously.. I can't believe it's November already. My son is almost 1 year old.

WOW!

Anyways, I've been busy traveling into the city for my internship at Nylon and so far it's been great. I do little things to help out the design department..scanning, archiving, ads, putting together a giant wall of the entire magazine. It's pretty simple, but it's cool to see the magazine come together from start to finish.

I'm at the office right now, drinking some Arnold Palmer and waiting for stuff to do. I'll post another entry soon with pictures of random things I find in the office.

So what's up with OMG DRE? Well, I am waiting until my Kickstarter project is over and see if I raise that money. If I don't, I'll start out with printing one design at a time instead of a 3 t-shirt launch. But that's fine too. I've got plenty of goodies to share with you once I get things printed.

Well, looks like facebook got a nice break from farmville tonight..

Ahh the VMAs. They seemed to have lost their glamour and excitement since the days of the NSYNC and Britney performance, but Kanye def gave it a boost with his cameo in Taylor Swift's acceptance speech. 

Real rude Kanye, but I applaud your ways to get everyone to talk about you!

Tonight got me thinking really hard about viral marketing and guerilla marketing. It's genius really. Especially since in todays world we are all connected through facebook, twitter and everything else. Did you see how fast everyone got talking about Kanye? Good or bad, he was on everyone's mind. Actually, good for him AND Taylor because she just gained loads of fans through this. I should get a team together to help me figure out what to do to get MY name out there..

Beyonce, you are fabulous.

Welcome to OMGDRE!

Hi, hello.

Welcome to the official OMG DRE blog. This is a much easier way for me to communicate with you guys and an even easier way to give you more sneak peeks of what is to come.

Right now, I am just in the planning phase of building up my brand. Things like when to launch, how to launch, how many shirts, etc. These things take time and I want my brand to be great. I will however tell you that I am planning to have a launch party in the coming months so that is something to look forward to in the future. The FAR future!

I will no longer be posting up new designs on the facebook fan page just because I want to keep an element of surprise when releasing new products. So rather than giving you a mock up.. I will be showing you a more behind the scenes look of what I am doing.
